In the excitement of giving an awards show acceptance speech, winners invariably forget to thank someone. “It’s like having to speak while skydiving,” Best Actor winner Norbert Leo Butz told the audience at the June 14 curtain call of Catch Me If You Can. Butz became emotional as he recounted running out of time at the 2011 Tonys before thanking the Catch Me company, particularly co-star Aaron Tveit. “This guy right here, I love with all my heart,” he said, embracing Tveit, who received 30 seconds of applause after being introduced by Butz. “I have not slept a wink since I gave that speech the other night.
